Carnival Completes First Phase of Enhancements to GoCCL.com

Carnival Cruise Lines has completed numerous enhancements to its travel agent Internet portal, based on suggestions from agents through the “Carnival Conversations” program. The line has a tutorial highlighting the upgrades on the site.

The enhancements include:

Streamlined stateroom display and selection, so agents can search for accommodations by deck.

More customized rate selection with pre-selection filters for military, senior, resident and interline rates, as well as Carnival’s Very Important Fun Person (VIFP) guest recognition program, so agents can more easily find the best rates for their guests.

A simplified “change of occupancy” process with the addition of an “add guest” option that allows agents to add up to three additional guests to an existing booking.

The ability to decrease group allotments to less than eight cabins.

When cancelling a booking, travel agents will now receive a message confirming that any additional funds are being refunded.

Travel agents without ACH access can now use FunShipPay for credit card and gift card payments.
